mood tool

A post for right now

Name the mood you are arriving in, and this page hands you the one post whose practice fits it. That is the whole exchange. No sign-up, and nothing you tap leaves your browser.

How is this hour landing?

Every route, held on the page

The pick row above is a shortcut with JavaScript on. These five routes are part of the page itself, so it works either way.

How the routes were chosen

The picks are fixed by hand, one post per mood, chosen from the published posts the way the practice page draws from them: every route lands on a post's own closing practice, at the exact spot where its three steps begin. When your mood changes, the honest answer is two taps, not a new account.

Moods are fickle, and a tired pick is still a pick. If none of the five fits, the dated practice of the day routes by the calendar instead, and all posts are one page away. Other small tools live on the tools page.

What gets saved

When you tap a mood, the page remembers that pick and the day, in your own browser storage, so nothing is sent anywhere. It is forgotten the next time the date rolls over. Delete your browser storage and nothing remains to miss.
